Zumba is basically into the internet application software development. The company is trying out something new by integrating telephony with internet via an innovative concept of ‘Natural Connecting’ and the result is Zumba Mobile Phone or Zumbafone. It is been designed in Hereford, UK. Zumbafone claims to be the world’s first fully hands-free mobile phone, having two parts – one main body and an ear piece. The body looks quite similar to an iPod and it is as small as a credit card.

The body of the machine contains a screen and a circular dial pad. It has another pad that can be detached from the handset and placed on the ear. When you remove the ear pad from the phone, it activates a connection to the internet. Your contacts are stored on a website known as “Zumba Lumba”. No contacts information is stored in the phone. Everything is there in the ‘cloud’. When you want to make a call or send a message, you just need to say that person’s name and the call will be connected or a message sent. Similarly when you get a message, it can read out to you.

This compact Zumbafone claims to have a fully accurate voice recognition system. Zumba tries to do away with huge expense incurred on all the hi-tech features, by way of introducing a totally new way of communication. The manufacturer of this mobile phone claims that if you lose this phone and it comes into someone else’s hands, it is of no use to them.

This mobile phone is likely to be released by the end of this year. Though it has a very peculiar name, according to the manufacturer, this phone is going to revolutionise the the whole communication system.
