Toshiba G900 Mobile Phone
Toshiba is a renowned name in the laptop-marketing sector. That more than explains their inclination towards business oriented electronic devices. Perhaps, that is also why it decided to launch its prototype, the Toshiba Portege G900 Mobile Phone, adorned with the - Windows Mobile 6.0 Operating System that had just emerged at the time. The Asus P320 Mobile Phone also sports a somewhat same Windows Mobile 6.1 Operating System.
Toshiba made their point clearer by embellishing it further with a 3” large touchscreen that in its turn accommodates an advanced fingerprint sensing function that provides the user comfortable menu navigation as well as smart protection for the stored data.
Full Connectivity
This is one Triband model, which offers full connectivity to the user through the most advanced HSDPA, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and USB. Anyone who knows something about today’s connectivity aspects also knows that the 3G is considerably faster in downloading communication data than the conventional GPRS and the HSDPA, nine times swifter than the 3G. There is also an advanced read and write access to any USB memory device given as an option in the phone. Direct Push E-mail messaging service is an additional business oriented smart feature presented in the model, apart from MMS as well as the conventional SMS. The full keyboard of the sliding type, offers complete freedom of messaging and E-mailing on the move. The HTC – TyTN II Mobile Phone also shares similar specialities.
Calls, Camera and Music
The G900 does accommodate some splendid call related features of which, the support rendered for VoIP calls through the internet stands out. Need not say that Voice Dialling feature is included in the device. The model also extends a built-in speakerphone for hands-free talking. The 2 MP camera given here might not impress an aspiring shutterbug despite sporting a CMOS sensor, a 4 x digital zoom and flash. The most telling absence here is of an auto-focus feature. A secondary camera can be spotted on the camera face. This is mainly with a view to making video-calling. Video playing time is 220 minutes as continuous maximum. However, the audio features of the model excels primarily by allowing AAC, Mp3, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA and AMRNB audio file formats to be played. The audio section of the Toshiba Portege G900 Triband Mobile Phone is further augmented by an astute Bluetooth Stereo structure (A2DP).
