T-Mobile Garminfone Mobile Phone is a yet to be released phone from T-Mobile. The device which was announced in February 2010 is expected to ready for launch in the second quarter of 2010. This is a 3G device operating on HSDPA 1700 / 2100 network. GSM networks supported are GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. With a weight of 136 g, the device is set with dimensions of 116 x 62.2 x 12 mm. It requires a standard Li-Ion battery.
This TFT touch screen device has a TFT capacitive touch screen with 256K colours. The 3.5” display posses a native resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The display is powered by an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. The internal memory is quite impressive with 4GB memory space that can provide a storage space for practically unlimited phone number entries. MicroSD can be used to expand the memory to 32GB.
Featured in this T mobile phone is a 3.15 MP camera with 2048 x 1536 pixels and auto focus. It operates on Android OS. The device can be used as a navigator with A-GPS support and Garmin navigation. It serves as a digital compass.
The various user applications included in the handset goes like this- cityXplorer maps, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Document viewer, Photo viewer/editor, Organizer, Voice memo and T9 dictionary. The various audio formats supported are MP3/eAAC+/WAV/MP4/H.263/H.264 player.
T-Mobile Garminfone 3G Mobile Phone is slated for release in black shade. The networking capabilities integrated in this device include GPRS (Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps), EDGE (Class 10, 236.8 kbps), HSDPA, WLAN, USB (2.0) and Bluetooth (v2.0 with A2DP). The model supports internet and the web pages can be accessed through its HTML browser.
