Sony Ericsson Z550i Mobile Phone is a clamshell handset that is available in two colour options – Sterling Black casing and Pearl copper casing. Its brushed aluminium finish exudes elegance. It is a compact device measuring 87.5 x 45.4 x 20.5mm and weighs 92.5g. Its battery supports a talk time of 5.5 hours and standby time of 320 hours. It belongs to Sony’s Z-range of handsets, like Sony Ericsson Z520i.
This mobile phone has an external monochrome display that provides information like date, time and calendar reminders. Its 1.9” internal TFT screen supports 262K colours. Sony Ericsson Z550i Camera Mobile Phone features a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 4x digital zoom. The camera has some useful editing features. You can record and also stream video with this mobile phone. You can combine different video clips incorporating sound and create your own video sequence, thanks to the Video DJ feature.
With its MusicDJ feature you can create your own distinctive polyphonic ringtones. This feature consists of drum, keyboard, guitar and bass sounds. Its media player supports MP3 and AAC formats. It has an FM radio too with RDS feature. This Sony Ericsson mobile phone is loaded with 20MB memory that can be extended using Memory Stick Micro M2 card. Its Bluetooth technology enables connectivity to other compatible devices. For browsing the net, the phone comes with Access Netfront web browser.
The other features of Sony Ericsson Z550i Bluetooth Mobile Phone includes built-in speakerphone, conference calling and Push to Talk, which works similar to a walkie-talkie system. The organiser feature of the phone includes calendar, calculator, phone book, alarm, business card exchange, timer, tasks and notes. It comes preloaded with Java games. The messaging features offered by this mobile phone are MMS, SMS and email. Overall, it is a good mobile phone with appealing looks and user friendly features.
