The Samsung S3650 Genio Full-Touch Mobile Phone seems to scream out: “Calling all young guns! Calling all young guns!” the minute you set your eyes on it. It oozes so much of young energy that the older generation might well steer clear from it. Well, that’s what Samsung seems to imply with the bold back covers and smart networking features. To begin with, the samsung Genio pink has Pop-up SNS that gives you access to Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. You can now stay connected with your friends, no matter where you are. The display of the S3650 is about 2.8 inches with an internal resolution of 240 x 320 and is strangely alive! It responds to your touch, literally. The response is in the form of a vibration whenever you drag your finger across the 2.8” screen.
The camera of the Samsung Corby (the Genio is called so outside the UK) is a 2 MP one with digital zoom. The quality of the photos though, are not all that exceptional. It has a 50MB internal memory and can be expanded to upto 8GB using a microSD card. This samsung genio touch pink phone has an in-built dictionary, FM Radio with RDS and a decent music player capable of playing MP3s, eAAC, eAAC+ and AAC. It is capable of MMS, email and instant messaging and disappointingly does not sport a QWERTY keyboard.
The Samsung S3650 supports GPRS and EDGE and comes with Bluetooth 2.0 and WAP browser. The curved edges and funky colours lets you play with your phone’s looks non stop. You can prefer to play it down with a plain black one or be daring and use a patterned one. The Genio is not an all powerful genie, but a cute one that you’ll enjoy dressing up.
