samsung monte e2550 mobile phone Samsung Monte Slider E2550 Mobile PhoneSamsung Monte E2550 – Sounds funky, huh? But let me tell you, one look at the feature set and you wouldn’t even dream of calling it so. From the looks of it, the handset appears stylish with a glossy exterior and slim build. Classy as it is, the phone’s exterior can also make one take it for a more high-end device than it actually is! The Samsung Monte Slider E2550 Mobile Phone is pretty lackadaisical, in terms of specifications. It sports a mere 2” display that has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and an unimpressive 1.3 megapixel camera.

This Samsung Monte E2550 slider phone is pretty lightweight at 86 grams, measures about 98.5×48.5×14.35 mm and comes with support for social network (now that’s some good news, huh?) The phone lacks 3G and comes with  12 MB of internal memory and a MicroSD slot to expand it further to up to 8GB. Talktime that the 800 mAh battery gives is quoted to be 6 hours and the standby time said to be about 16 days. This handset further supports Bluetooth and USB and FM radio is there as well.

Displayed at Samsung’s booth at the Mobile World Congress this year, there’s not much information on this average slider phone. Our guess is that it could hit the stores some time in the fourth quarter this year. It looks like the Samsung Monte Slider E2550 could be one of those phones that come and go with not much of noise.

Verdict:
The Samsung Monte Slider E2550 mobile phone can be described in one word: Underwhelming.
