The Samsung M540 Rant 2MP Camera Mobile Phone is a sleek mobile phone designed with a QWERTY keyboard. Though the mobile phone weighs about 130g, it measures about 14mm x 53mm x 18mm, making the size quite modest, even after the addition of the QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard slides smoothly in and out from the side of the phone and has 4 rows of rubber keys making it easy to operate. The M540 Rant has a 262k color TFT display, 3G data and a Sprint One Click standby screen user interface.

The Samsung M540 Rant Bluetooth Mobile Phone features easy to use text messaging and picture messaging. It also supports instant messaging and POP3 e-mail. For those with music interests, the M540 Rant has a microSD card of 256MB to store their favourite music and photos and it is also compatible with Sprint’s Music Store.
