HTC Desire S

Design

The unique body design is a hit and comes in an aluminum case which makes it feel more solid.
Smaller and compact than the previous edition of HTC Desire.
It has lost the optical track pad that was present in HTC Desire, thus giving way to the finger touch buttons along the bottom.
It has a 3.7” screen and a 480 x 800 resolution with a super LCD technology to raise the standard of quality of picture.
The dimensions - 60 x 115 x 11.6mm, and weighs about 130g. Overall the phone is not too thick with its 11.6 mm and feels good to hold in the hand with its curves.

Camera

Camera remains at 5 megapixels which allows you to take pictures of anything that you want under the sun- well almost. Samsung Wave also comes with a camera resolution of 5MP but with internal memory capacity of 2GB with expandable microSD upto 32GB.

Also has a front VGA camera to be able to make video calls whenever you feel like, at the click of a button.
Now it is possible to capture HD video recording at 720p. That’s the best improvement in terms of camera.
Other features include geo tagging, face detection that allows you to manually focus or set the auto focus on the part of the frame that you wish to.

Interface

It has retained the operating system as HTC Desire i.e. Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The processor speed also times at 1GHz, and is a single core that lags behind in term of other mobiles which use dual core.
Second generation model with a 768 MB RAM speed which is quick enough to load all the apps that you want to without much hassle.
It comes with a feature called HTC SENSE, which is there in almost all the latest smart phones of HTC running Android.
