Nokia E71 3.2MP Camera Mobile Phone is a latest model from Nokia. This monoblock gadget has dimensions of 114 x 57 x 10mms and weight of 127grams. It has a QVGA display having a screen size of 2.36 inches at a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels supporting 16 million colours along with two customisable home screen modes.

It has a full keyboard that allows input data with auto-completion, auto-correction and learning capability. There are dedicated keys for home, calendar, contacts and email. The phone enables both speaker dependent and independent voice dialling facilities. It also offers accelerated scrolling with the help of NaviTMKey that has a notification light.

This mobile phone has an internal memory of 110MB and is also expandable with a microSD memory card. It enables Quad band communication at operating frequencies 850, 900, 1800 and 1900. This also offers connectivity with USB and Bluetooth.

Call features of this mobile are integrated handsfree speakerphone, automatic answer with headset or car kit, any key answer, call waiting, call hold, call divert, call timer, logging of calls, automatic redial and fallback, speed dialling and fixed dialling number support. Vibrating alert, side volume keys, mute key, contacts with images, conference calling, Push to talk and VoIP are other features included for calling.

Messaging is another important function of the mobile that includes SMS, MMS and instant messaging. Text-to-speech message reader, cell broadcast and distribution lists for messaging are other features included in the phone. Audio recordings are stored in AMR and AAC formats. Video playback file formats supported by the phone are .Flash Lite 3, mp4 and .3gp. Music and audio playback is made possible with its music and media player that supports MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ formats. The phone also provides visual radio support that keeps you entertained 24 x 7. It also facilitates music synchronisation with Windows Media Player. This phone also offers support with Nokia Music Store and Nokia Pod casting.

The phone can be personalised by using the Customizable profiles, ring tones, video ring tones, talking ring tones, themes and home screen content in Business and Personal modes.

Personal information management is carried out by providing applications such as Clock, Alarm clock with ring tones, Reminders, Calculator with advanced functions, Calendar with week and month view, Converter, Active Notes and To-do list. Other applications included in the phone are JavaTM MIDP 2.0, Flash Lite 3.0, Chat and instant messaging, Nokia browser, Dictionary, Quickoffice (Quickword, Quickpoint, Quicksheet), PDF Viewer, ZIP Manager, Download!, File Manager, Nokia Search and Nokia Maps.
