Nokia E5 Mobile Phone

Combining the functionalities of a business and social networking device, the Nokia E5 could make a professional rub his palms in glee. It has all the features that you would expect of a business device, such as Exchange, Lotus Notes Traveler, World Traveler and Office Suite as well as access to social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. The E5 is a 3G mobile phone with support to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and maximum upload and download speeds of up to 2Mbps and 10.2Mbps.

The Nokia E5 mobile phone runs on Symbian S60 3rd Edition and Feature Pack 2. The Blackberry-style handset comes in black, white, copper, silver and blue with stainless-steel accents and has a 2.36” QVGA display that’s capable of displaying up to 256,000 colours. Like every other smartphone in the industry, this Nokia mobile phone lets you access Facebook and Twitter right from the customizable homescreen.

The camera of this Nokia E5 Bluetooth Mobile Phone is an interesting 5MP one that comes with LED flash, 3xdigital zoom and full focus, using which you can record ‘DVD-quality video’ as well. There also is an Assisted-GPS receiver on board and of course, Ovi Maps. And in case you wish to listen to music while working, the E5 is prepared for that too – it has a good music player capable of playing mp3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA formats, Internet Radio and Real Media Player, not to mention Music Store 3.0.

You can also store an ample amount of files in the Nokia E5 – internal memory isn’t all that much at 256 MB, but you can expand it to up to 32 GB. But at the end of the day,  the Nokia E5 is a business phone – so there’s the whole package of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications. The E5 sounds nice, but not nice enough. It’s set to hit the markets sometime this year for £160, presumably.
