Nokia C3 Mobile Phone

For the die-hard Blackberry-style messaging phone buffs who have a deep crush on anything that says ‘Nokia’ on it, the C3 could be a dream come true. The phone is priced at just £78 – that’s the best part about it, given the rich feature set. The Nokia C3 has a full QWERTY keyboard and is available in Golden White, Hot Pink and Slate Grey. On first look, it’s possible that some of us might stay away, taking it for an expensive model. It’s not just the looks, Nokia has given this mobile phone quite a lot for the money.

To start off with, this mobile phone has a 2.4” 320 x 240 pixel display and an average 2MP camera. If you’re expecting it to be loaded with the Symbian OS, you’ll be slightly disappointed to know the C3 is a Series 40 device. But hey, it has quite a lot to make up for this, though. Support for social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter is present, so is a nice browser.

This Nokia mobile phone lacks 3G, but Nokia has included Wi-Fi, which shouldn’t be bad. You can also customise the home screen – adding an icon here and an icon there and also enjoy feeds from social networking sites directly from the home screen. Being a messaging phone, the Nokia C3 mobile phone is equipped with a dedicated shortcut key for messages. You can access up to 10 personal email accounts using the handset, not to mention free Ovi Mail  and access to Ovi Chat, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Messenger.

Internal memory is just about 55 MB, but you can expand it to 8GB using micro SD cards. The C3 features a Nokia Music Player that supports MP3, WMA, AAC, eAAC and eAAC+ formats. Nokia says that this mobile phone will be available in the second quarter of 2010. It does have all the makings of a winner – so watch out for it!
