Video can be taken with superior quality. The phone has a 4x digital zoom facility. Videos can be recorded in .mp4, .3gp formats with H.263 and MPEG-4 media supportive codecs. These videos are playback in mp4 and 3gp formats with H.263 and H.264 supportive codecs.

The Nokia Media Player offers playlists, equalizers and media selection according to artist, album and genre. Music is played in .amr, .mid, .mp3, .mp4, .m4a, .aac, and .wma formats.

The main applications used in this mobile are Java™ MIDP 2.1, CLDC 1.1, Flash Lite 3.0, instant messaging and Windows Live support.
