Nokia 6310i Mobile Phone is a spectacular phone with superb features. It 
has compact dimensions of 47 x 21 x 129 mms and it weighs 111 grams. Its colour is lightning silver and is a plastic made. It has got LCD display with 6 line length. Display resolution is 90 x 60 pixels and it supports monochrome colour.
The unit supports GSM technology. It provides EGSM 900 / GSM 1800/1900 Tri-Bands. It is a candy bar mobile and it can contain 40 ring tones. It supports vibrating alert. The unit has got built-in voice recorder (120 sec), speed dial, call timer and voice dial. This Nokia phone supports conference calling. It supports Bluetooth and infrared (IrDA) for wireless connectivity.
Software supported by Nokia 6310i GSM Mobile Phone is Nokia PC suite 4.51. It features speech codec like EFR, FR and HR. The Phone also supports profiles such as Meeting, Outdoors, silent, Pager and General. Additional feature provided are intelligent typing (T9), SIM application toolkit (STK), closed user groups, JAVA applications and melody composer. Phone book memory can occupy 500 names and numbers where as the SIM Card Directory can occupy 250 names and numbers. This Nokia mobile phone can store up to 10 missed calls, 10 dialled calls, 10 received calls and has got 10 voice dialling memory.
Messaging services included in the mobile are Nokia smart messaging and SMS. It supports SMS functions like SMS CB (Cell Broadcast), SMS MO (Mobile originated), SMS MT (Mobile terminated), Picture Messages, e-mail via SMS and concatenated SMS. The message length is up to 160 characters. Other excellent features of the mobile include Mobile Email Client, Data/Fax capability, GPRS (General packet radio service), Internet browser, high-speed circuit switched data (HSCSD) and JAVA applications.
It has Security features such as Phone lock, keypad lock and SIM Card Lock with an inbuilt feature which Restricts Access to Phone book. It has additional features such as organiser, alarm clock calendar, calculator, currency converter, and reminder. Several Additional Timer Functions included are Countdown timer and stopwatch. The mobile also includes 4 games installed in it.
Display indicators included are Divert indicator, digital clock, GPRS indicator, missed calls indicator, Bluetooth indicator, alarm clock indicator, signal strength, text message waiting, voice message waiting, ringer alert off, keypad lock and battery meter. It supports Multi- language for Menu view. The connections provided in this phone include Data port – IrDA, Data port, DC power input and Headset jack. This efficient unit uses 1100 mAh Lithium polymer battery which provides up to 6 hours talk time and up to 17 days standby time. Included accessory is a power adaptor. One year warranty period is offered by manufacturer.
