
The Nokia 6260 Slide 5 MP Camera Mobile Phone, to be released in the first quarter of 2009 has some high-end features though it has the model number of an older version of Nokia. It features a 5 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens that promises some great photos. The camera also has a dual LED flash and autofocus. The mobile phone has a 2.4 inch HVGA display with a resolution of about 480 x 320 pixels. The noticeable thing about the 6260 slider phone is that it has all the features of a high-end mobile phone but is aimed at the mass-market. It is also deemed to be the most powerful of the Series 40 devices.
The Nokia 6260 Slide Bluetooth Mobile Phone features an integrated GPS receiver and an internal memory of 200MB. The 6260 Slide also features a Nokia WebKit Open Source Browser and Bluetooth 2.1. The 6260 Slide has a talktime of 3 hours over the 3G network and 4 hours over GSM and stand by time of up to 12 days. Using the microSD card, the internal memory of 256MB can be expanded up to 8GB.
There is ease of operation due to the 360 degree navigation key. The handset weighs about 114 grams and has dimensions of 99 x 47 x15mm. The 6260 slide also has Wi-Fi and the camera has a maximum video capture quality of 427 x 320 pixels at 15 frames per second. The mobile phone incorporates high speed 3.5G uploads and downloads and support for quad-band GSM. It also has preinstalled Nokia maps. With some high-quality features, the Nokia 6260 Slide Mobile Phone is definitely something to be looked out for.
