Motorola ROKR E8 Mobile PhoneMotorola ROKR E8 Bluetooth Mobile Phone is a candy bar handset loaded with 2 GB memory. It operates on Quad band network and comes with GPRS and EDGE. It is a tall handset, measuring 115 x 53 x 10.6 mm (H x W x D) and seems quite clumsy to carry around in the pocket. It weighs 100g. The display of 2” with 320 x 240 pixels resolution supports 262k colours.

Spectacular features

This mobile phone uses the Modeshift technology that easily transforms it into an imaging device, an MP3 player and a phone with the touch of a button. You can access music, contacts, calendar and multimedia by simply moving your thumb across the FastScroll navigation wheel. Just like Samsung F480 Tocco, Samsung Soul and Blackberry Storm 9530, it incorporates the Haptic touch feature that provides a tactile feedback when you touch the virtual buttons. It comes with Microsoft music ecosystem support.

Motorola ROKR E8 Multimedia Mobile Phone is specifically meant for music. It is compatible with Windows Media Player 11 on the PC, which enables you to transfer your favourite music onto your handset. You can gain access to more than 200 online music stores. To add on to your music extravagance, there is an FM radio with Song ID that displays the tune information. You can break free from wires with the stereo Bluetooth technology incorporated in this phone. ROKR’s integrated 2 mega pixel camera features 8 x digital zoom, multi-shot, video capture and playback.

Abundant memory

“This mobile phone is loaded with 2GB internal memory and supports external memory up to 4GB. Its battery supports a talk time of up to 5 hrs and a standby time of up to 300 hrs. Other features of Motorola ROKR E8 Mobile Phone include Crystal Talk technology, full HTML browser and flight mode. Crystal Talk technology reduces external noises and delivers improved voice clarity. Whatever said and done, the highlight of the phone is its Modeshift feature and its incredible music functions. It seems to be competing with the Sony Ericsson’s Walkman range. The only downside seems to be the lack of 3G.

Bought this Motorola ROKR E8 Mobile Phone last month esp. for its mode shift tech and scrolling wheel, think Motorola is very clever. My friends envy on me and few others don’t know what exactly the technology called mode shift. Audio quality is unbeatable! Love this Phone and a wonderful one. If you are looking for an admirable mobile this is the one to choose from. Simply an amazing Gadget!
