virgin media Virgin Media Offers Free Calls to Mobile PhonesVirgin Media, one of the leading service providers in UK has announced to offer its customers, free and unlimited calls from its landlines to Virgin mobile phones. The service will be effective from April 1st 2010. Both the new and existing customers can avail this offer.

Reportedly, a total of £1.6 billion is spent for calls from landline to mobile phones. Thus, this new offer could let the Virgin home phone customers to save a considerable amount. According to Virgin, around four million Virgin home phone customers will be benefited from this new offer.

However, similar to most of the free unlimited calls, the calls are free only for the initial 60 minutes. Perhaps, this catch could be overthrown by hanging up after the initial 60 minutes and then redial later, to continue without charges.
