slacker radio app for blackberry released Slacker Radio App for BlackBerry 3.0 beta at CESFinally, Slacker Radio App for BlackBerry has arrived! Back in October, Slacker announced the version 3.0 for BlackBerry, which will allow you to synchronize the stations over the air through Wi-Fi connection.

The newly released version at CES will allow you to do this. Once you have cached a station (That is, stores music on to the memory card), you can sync it with ‘refresh cached station’ option. The process is found to be faster over a high speed Wi-Fi connection. In addition to saving tunes, it provides lyrics and unlimited skips and requests, and is ad-free. There was a previous version, but it required a connection with the computer using a USB cable to store music offline.

For the service, Slacker requires you to subscribe to Slacker’s premium Radio Plus Service, which costs around $4 per month. There is a free trial version available for the users. BlackBerry 3.0 version is expected to hit App World within a few weeks.
