Samsung unveils M5650 Lindy

Samsung has unveiled a budget friendly music mobile phone named Samsung M5650 Lindy. It is akin to Samsung Corby Genio Touch Mobile Phone. Even though some of the basic features and looks are similar to Corby, it accommodates some advanced specifications as well.

Samsung M5650 Lindy Music Mobile Phone is equipped with a 2.8 inches touch screen display of 240 X 320 pixels resolution. It has 3.15 mega pixels camera with auto focus, GPRS and EDGE support, Wi-Fi, 3G, bluetooth and USB. Moreover, this 3G mobile phone is an excellent messaging device with support for text, multimedia, e-mail and instant messaging. Quick access to social networking site is another asset with it. Surprisingly, Samsung‘s brand new Bada platform is not featured in it, instead there is another user interface dubbed as Cartoon UI.

Being a music phone, Samsung Lindy 3G Mobile Phone has some exclusive music features including DNS or Digital Natural Sound Engine. This offers a Find Music Recognition Service, which allows users to record few lines of the song and send it to the server to identify the track. This mobile handset boasts of a 50MB memory, expandable up to 8GB using a microSD card. It is available in black and blue colours.

Samsung Lindy M5650 is now available in Portugal and will shipped to Europe soon. It has been priced at £149 in Portugal.
