Orange to sell iPhones from 10th November

orange iphone decal Orange to sell iPhones from 10th NovemberOrange, the number three mobile operator in Europe, will begin the sale of the iPhones on its network from 10th November, the day after O2′s contract with Apple comes to an end. The iPhone is said to be sold from the company’s own shops and from Phone4U.

Carphone Warehouse is also expected to sell iPhone on the behalf of Orange. But no official declaration is available for this. 3 networks is anticipated to launch the iPhone sale but it is said to be ‘sometime in 2010′. “We don’t have an the iPhone. But if we improve the range of our available smartphones and introduce the iPhone, then out data traffic is expected to grow massively.”, Kevin Russell, Chief Executive of the 3 networks says.

Besides, Vodafone is another service provider that has signed its own deal with a Californian Company, but its launch is said to be in the start of new year. Orange has over 200,000 customers registered, with their interest to acquire the device. The price of it has not been revealed till now.

The launch of too many iPhones next year, is expected to lead to a price war during Christmas. But Orange, is trying to impress its customers by including accessories and pre-loading some applications.
