“Hey, did you hear that Nokia is launching a new mobile phone this month?” “What is it about that new phone from Moto, dude?” “Oh, my God! LG’s launching a better model than mine!” A mobile phone that is new on the block indeed gets us all excited and curious. Let’s have a brief look on the mobile phones that are to be launched soon.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness is one of those phones that catch your attention the minute you set your eyes on them. The phone has a transparent display and is said to cost around £530. The phone is a basic one with no extra frills and is targeted at older users. According to Sony, this phone is all about “talk, text, time – a holiday from technology.” The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness is set for a November launch.
Nokia Mural, also called the Nokia 6750 is a midrange clamshell mobile phone that will be available exclusively in the AT&T network in the US. It is a 3.5G phone with GPS, 2.2″ display, 2 MP camera, stereo Bluetooth and has a microSD slot for expandable memory. The phone looks pretty good and is to be available from this month in the US. No news about a UK launch, though.
Palm Pixi is expected to be available from this month in the US. It is an WebOS phone, the second of the kind from Palm. Pixi looks stylish with a 2.6″ touchscreen display and a QWERTY keyboard. It has a 2MP camera and has GPS, though it lacks WiFi. Pixi lets you multitask with ease and has a 7GB of usable internal memory. It supports Apple iTunes and Facebook integration and you can change the boring black cover to something funky.
