motorola droid phone Motorola publishes Droid features officiallyMotorola published the full features of its much anticipated Droid mobile phone on its website. According to Motorola, Droid phone features a 3.7 inches 480 X 854 pixels touch screen with sliding keyboard.

The operating system employed in it is Android 2.0, and thus Droid became the first mobile phone to employ Android 2.0.  The processor of Motorola Droid phone will be of 550MHz. The Droid will come with a pre-installed 16GB microSD card. It is also said to feature a music player and video player for entertainment purpose. Besides, Droid will capture high resolution video at 720 X 480 video at a speed of 24 frames per second. It captures still images at 5 mega pixels resolution.

Droid will support Micro Exchange sync and features Quick Office Microsoft office document viewer, Google application softwares and Facebook. The battery life is said to be alive for up to 270 hours in stand by mode and 6 hours on talk time. This Motorola mobile phone runs on Verizon Wireless’s CDMA network. Motorola Verizon Droid phone is  claimed to be a much anticipated launch of Verizon and has been advertised through teasers and upcoming October 28th Press event.
