It’s time for new MOBILE PHONES! The latest releases, trends, apps, developments….Anything that is new to the mobile phone world is set to glaze at the world’s largest mobile phone trade show, the Mobile World Congress on 15th February 2010, at Barcelona. The four days event will showcase around 1300 mobile phone companies from across the world. Here is a preview for those tech buffs, who are already on their toe to catch a glimpse of the happenings at MWC 2010.

Google Nexus Two?
During the last CES 2010 show, Google Nexus One created some stir. Now, it is the time for Google Nexus Two. Plenty of rumours are already on-board and the recent partnership of Google with Motorola, along with innumerable online leak-outs; evident the presence of Motorola-Google android phone. This is one expected mobile phone at Mobile World Congress 2010 (MWC 2010).
Microsoft Windows Mobile 7 and Zune Phone
It seems the Windows Mobile 7 operating system will mark its début at Mobile World Congress 2010. Although, Microsoft has not offered any confirmation, this oft-delayed mobile phone operating system and the mobile phones that run on this OS are anticipated at MWC 2010. Besides, the much chattered Microsoft Zune Phone, a said Microsoft’s iPhone killer is also expected to be in the MWC 2010 arena.
Samsung Super AMOLED Phone and Samsung BADA Operating System
Samsung is expected to flaunt with their super AMOLED phone and the BADA operating system at Mobile World Congress 2010. Samsung Super AMOLED phone is said to be packed with a 800 X 480 pixels display, offering a five times better visibility than the screens of the present mobile handsets. Samsung’s BADA operating system is also awaited with much crave and hope at the MWC 2010.
Android Mobile Phones
More number of android mobile phones, from the major mobile phone manufacturers are expected to get unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2010. HTC’s Bravo, Legend, Supersonic, Motorola’s Devour, Shadow, Motoroi, Zeppelin, Backflip, LG’s GW990, GT540 are just some of them. Most of these cell phones may feature an updated version of android operating system, Android 2.1.
No Nokia at MWC 2010?
Nokia has already made an official, yet vague confirmation about its participation in Mobile World Congress 2010. It has been said that Nokia will not showcase any new handsets, but will have a significance presence at MWC 2010 with conference programmes, meetings, customer and media activities. News sites like CNET has announced that Nokia will run its own event alongside of the MWC 2010. However, there are rumours about Nokia C5, Symbian 4 platform and Maemo 6 being shown, perhaps in their own event.
Global Mobile Awards 2010
The award for the Best Mobile Handset at Mobile World Congress 2010 is a major attraction. The nominated mobile phones include BlackBerry Bold 9700, Samsung Tocco Lite, HTC Hero, T-Mobile Pulse, Samsung Omnia i8910 and Nokia N97 mini.
