However, of late there seems to be preparations for a launch in Australia too using HTC’s Velocity 4G. The latest news is that there are ideas to release the Velocity in Europe too, thereby offering the continent of Europe their first LTE smartphone.

The Velocity 4G would be first launched in Germany, via the carrier Vodafone who have announced that they plan to star selling the product very soon. For the time being as the Vodafone’s LTE network is yet to be completed, the sale of the Velocity 4G would be restricted to those areas where they already have the LTE network coverage in place.

Powered by a dual-core processor of 1.5 GHZ, the Velocity 4G boasts of a 4.5 inch display screen in HD resolution, and is fitted with two cameras, the main one of 8 mega pixels and the secondary camera is a 1.3 mega pixel that faces the front. It is available in a few shades but Vodafone would be selling the white version of these smartphones.

The precise date of launch of the Velocity 4G is yet to be announced by Vodafone, though they say that it would be announced soon.
