google nexus one android phone Google Nexus One Android Phone Ready to launch Speculations on Google’s own-branded android phone has come to an end. The search engine giant has dubbed its mobile phone as Nexus One. It has been handed over to the employees for testing and is reportedly planning to launch for sale directly to consumers by early January 2010.

If Goggle is out to sell Google Nexus One Android Mobile Phone without any wireless carriers, users have to buy the wireless service separately. As expected, this latest mobile phone will run on Google’s Android platform, which is already implemented on many handsets and is popular over past two years. Manufactured by HTC, Nexus One is said to be thinner than the iPhones and will have no keyboard. Moreover, it is said to feature a voice-to-text service. The android mobile phone, which is previously dubbed as Dragon, may have a slightly larger display when compared to iPhone and it will have a smaller trackball, similar to BlackBerry mobile phones.

Even though the web giant has handed over the handset to the employees, no much information is released to the public. Mario Querioz, Google’s London based Vice-President for product management has written on her blog that the constant experiment of new products are normal at Google. The products are given to the employees for testing and for their feed backs on the same. This process, which is called as dogfooding is exclusive for Google employees and cannot be shared outside.
