Dell to release Mini 3i Android Mobile Phone in China and Brazil
by Mobilemaniac on 14 November, 2009
Dell made the official announcement to launch its first android mobile phone, Dell Mini 3i in China and Brazil. It is said to be the world’s smallest Dell, and will run Open Mobile System (OPhone).
Through the launch of Dell Mini 3i Android Mobile Phone initially in China, it is anticipated that Dell targets at the fast growing developing countries for its sale. But it is said to reach other regions via leading global telecom providers. Being the 3rd largest computer manufacturer in the world, the success or failure of this android mobile phone may not affect Dell.
Dell Mini 3i Android Mobile Phone is said to feature a 3.5 inches touch screen with stylus, and a 3 mega pixels camera. Instead of providing a 3.5mm jack, Dell’s First Android Mobile Phone will employ a miniUSB port, and a miniUSB-to-3.5mm jack adapter. Moreover, even though the device is said to feature bluetooth support, it will lack Wi-Fi connectivity. But the Brazilian version of this mobile phone may probably do.
No hard specifications of the phone are available, but the launch will take place before the end of 2009.
