BlackBerry has announced the BlackBerry Torch 9800 which is a new mobile that indicates a slight shift in priorities for BlackBerry. The BlackBerry Torch outstandingly features both a QWERTY keypad and a tough screen which is quiet unique for a BlackBerry mobile. The touch screen stretches to about 3.2 inches, supports pinch to zoom and many more gesticulates.
The Torch brings is the launch of BlackBerry OS 6, which is a more advanced media based operating system then previous ones. The BalckBerry OS 6 also brings in a number of advancement like new WebKit browser that render high speed browsing experience, enabling also tabbed browsing. Some of the additional features include multi touch support, Wi-Fi support, customizable home screen, improved visual user interface and more.
The 5 mega pixel camera features ‘zero shutter’ which means the mobile has got no shutter delay when clicking a snap. The camera also features geo-tagging, auto focus, zoom and video record option.
Vodafone has confirmed they will be carrying the BlackBerry Torch 9800, which will launch later this month.
