Apple iPad finally comes to the UK – Pricing details revealed

Finally, it’s out – the iPad’s UK release date. It’s May 28th dear readers, you will be able to get your hands on the ‘magical’ tablet on May 28th! Pre-orders for the touchscreen tablet are open from today with delivery scheduled for the said date. A 16GB Wi-Fi model will cost about £429, while the same costs £499 and £599 for 32GB and 64GB models respectively.

The more advanced 3G version of the device is available for £529 (for a 16GB model), £599 for a 32GB model and £699 for a 64GB model. In the UK, users have an interesting range of data plans to choose from, for three carriers such as Vodafone, O2 and Orange are selling the iPad. Also, Apple’s iBookstore and the iBooks app can be downloaded for free from the App Store from May 28 onwards.

Apple will supposedly release the iPad in Ireland, New Zealand, Mexico, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Belgium and Austria in July this year.
