allerta inpulse smartwatch Allerta announces inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry SmartphonesAllerta, a Canada based company has unveiled inPulse Smartwatch for BlackBerry smartphones. This watch is a BlackBerry accessory, which can be paired with your BlackBerry smartphone via Bluetooth. Thus, the smartphone can send alerts and information to this watch, and it will be exhibited on the watch’s display. The notifications could be on caller ID information, text messages, e-mail headers, calendar alerts or even Twitter updates.

Allerta inPulse Smartwatch does not come with any phone capabilities and the users could not make or receive any calls with this watch. It features a 1.3 inches OLED colour display and rechargeable 150mAh battery. The battery of this device stands for a period of four days and could be recharged via a microUSB cable.

LG and Samsung are the other companies that have already propelled watchphones. Allerta inPulse smartwatch is available for pre-orders for a cost of $150. It is expected to be shipped by the end of February 2010.
