LG GW620 Android Smartphone

LG Electronics is one of the leading global mobile communications and information company. With the launch of LG GW620, LG has entered the arena of Android based smartphones. This new comer among android phones features a 3 inches TFT touch screen display that supports 256K colours. This display has a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels. Within a dimension of 106mm X 55mm X 12mm, it incorporates a QWERTY keyboard and features an accelerator sensor for auto rotate.

LG GW620 supports a 2G network GSM 850/900/1800/1900, and a 3G on HSDPA 2100 at a data transfer rate of 7.2Mbps. It also supports GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB data transfer. The memory of this mobile phone enables the storage of 1000 phone book entries, which could be further expanded using a microSD memory card of up to 16GB. The Android Operating system of the phone supports WAP 2.0 XHTML/HTML web browsers.

LG GW620 5MP Mobile Phone features a camera of 5 mega pixels resolution with auto focus and LED flash function. Besides, there is a provision to shoot videos of 720Pixels resolution at a speed of 30fps. LG has enabled  face detection technology and image stabilization technology in its camera. The former facilitates the precise capture of faces, whereas the latter compensates the blurring due to hand shakes. There is a photo/video editor incorporated into it for further manipulation of images. Overall, this LG mobile comes with good camera features that aids the users to have quality capture of still images and video.

Another impressive feature of LG GW620 3G Smartphone is its excellent messaging service with MMS, E-mail, Instant messaging and Push e-mail functions. The T9 entry of the phone enables faster message usage. The users have some entertainment features including an FM radio, a MP3/MP4/ AAC/WMA player, and a motion-based/downloadable games. Document viewer, Voice memo and organizer are the other useful features integrated into this smartphone.

The battery time could be a little disappointment with just 3 hours on talk time and 227 hours on stand by mode. To sum up, LG GW620 Smartphone comes with limited, easy comprehensible features and could be expected at a cheaper rate soon.
