LG GT950 Arena Mobile Phone

LG presented its new LG GT950 Arena Mobile Phone in March 2010. The mobile in the block format comes fitted with an internal antenna and weighs 104.9g (with battery). This 107.7 x 55.4 x 12.2 mm mobile offers the standard Li-Ion battery with 1000mAh capacity. The standard Li-Ion battery offers a Standby time of 240h and a Talk time of 3h.

LG GT950 sports a graphical display with 3 inch TFT capacitive touch screen of 16M colours and offers a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, with its S-Class Touch UI. The mobile features the Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

The mobile phone can store up to 1000 numbers into the phone book and offers a shared memory of 150MB and a 32GB microSD. It has the ability to record up to 40 received calls, 40 missed calls and 40 outgoing calls. It also offers two types of ring tones-polyphonic as well MP3 ring tones. LG GT950 supports also a 3.5 mm audio jack and Dolby Mobile sound enhancement.

The mobile phone is compatible with GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 / GSM 850 for 2G network. It offers better connectivity through HSDPA with speed 7.2Mbps, where as other connectivity options include GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots) at 32 – 48 kbps; EDGE Class 10 at 236.8 kbps; USB (microUSB v2.0) and Bluetooth (2.1 with A2DP). The mobile is compatible with the WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser and provides the option for Email client, Instant Messaging, HSUPA, GPS with A-GPS support and AT & T Navigator. It also supports ability to send and receive SMS and MMS.

The block mobile features a 5 MP auto focus camera which offer a picture with a resolution of 2592 х 1944 pixels, with a video recording option at (720 x 480 @ 30fps, VGA @ 30fps), QVGA time-lapse and slow-motion video recording. It also offers LED flash, geo-tagging and image stabilization. The additional features offered by this Java enabled phone includes Games; Clock and Alarm; Calendar; Calculator, Voice dialling and Voice memo. The mobile also provides with an option to download more games, if required.

LG GT950 Arena Block Mobile Phone offers T9 option for the dictionary, to be used if required while texting. It also supports FM Radio, MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player, MP4/DivX/XviD/WMV/H.264/H.263 player, Streaming Radio, Document viewer (DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF) and Organizer.
