The tech-world was chasing it like a cheetah ruthlessly all through its race into the world of communication, and ultimately Google themselves surrendered Nexus One before a press event at its California headquarters on January 5th 2010. Google introduced its flagship mobile phone as a “superphone” and “the place where web meets phone”. Since Google Nexus One has entered the battle field to quash the established smartphones of the market, let us glance through the features that make Google Nexus One a powerful warrior.

The greatest triumph of Google Nexus One is its dynamic Snapdragon Qualcomm QSD 8230 1GHz processor. This facilitates the fast loading of all applications and no lag is met during your navigation through the phone. Perhaps, it will not be an exaggeration, if you call Google Nexus One as the fastest Android phone ever launched. The operating system employed in it is Android 2.1 and it provides you with five home screens, Google Maps navigation, Facebook integration, Google Earth (not available now, but will be added), voice-enabled text messages, new 3D networks and many more. There are some novelties in the menu system such as rolling effects of icons, grid design instead of the usual menu tab, dots on the sides of the touch control and so on.

Google Nexus One Android Smartphone comes in a candybar design with a stunning AMOLED display of size 3.7 inches.  With a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels, the graphics, images and texts are displayed gorgeously. It has a dimension of 119mm X 59.8mm X 11.5mm and weighs around 130 grams with battery. The contacts can be stored with multiple information about the person including address, e-mail, designation and so on. These will get automatically synchronized with the G-mail account. There is an internal memory of  512MB and an external memory of 4GB that could be expanded to 32GB using card. Support for popular e-mail accounts, automatic calendar synchronization and the voice commands are the other assets with Nexus One. The voice commands allows you to perform a variety of function including dialling, updating face book page, composing text message and searching. The speaker of Nexus One is impressive.

Furthermore, Google Nexus One has a 5 mega pixels camera with auto focus and LED flash. It can capture videos as well, at a rate of 20fps. The users can include location of photos from AGPS receiver. Regarding its network, it is quad-band GSM with EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA support. There is Wi-Fi and bluetooth connectivity as well.
