When we glance at its key features, BlackBerry Bold 9700 has a large 2.4 inches high resolution display of 480 X 360 pixels that supports 65000 colours. Trackpad navigation is the next highlighted feature in it, which allows you to glide your fingers through the menus and ions of the screen. This provides you a similar experience as using your laptop. Full QWERTY keyboard is featured in it and the phone supports excellent SMS and MMS facility.
This new BlackBerry smartphone has a GSM quad band support with UTMS and HSDPA or 3G compatibility. Besides, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are employed for data services. As its predecessors, BlackBerry Bold 9700 comes with a good media player that supports various video formats including DivX 4, DivX 5/6 partially, MPEG-4, WMV3, Soren Spark, ON2 V6 and more. The audio formats it supports include MP3, WMV9, MIDI, AMR-NB, and Professional AACs.
BlackBerry comes with a good memory of 256MB flash memory that provides you with ample storage facility. 3.2 mega pixels camera is the next addition to it that also features image stabilization, auto focus facility, in-built flash and 2X digital zoom. Besides, there is a provision to capture video recording. Integrated GPS with BlackBerry maps guide you through its turn-by-turn instructions. Finally, the battery life of BlackBerry Bold 9700 offers a ‘bold’ talk time of up to 6 hours and stand by time of up to 21 days (GSM)/ 17 days (3G). It measures 109mm high, 60mm wide and 14.1mm thick. It weighs just 122gm including battery.
