I-Mate JAMA Mobile Phones have been introduced in the year 2007 and ever since it has a permanent place in the hearts of the mobile lovers. This silver coloured sleek and slim device is very impressive and the features are convincing. The device does not have an out ward projection as the antenna is internal which makes it easy to carry around. The handwriting recognition feature and the four way navigation pads are the added features of this contemporary model of mobile phone.

The device has a TFT touch screen of size 2.4 inches and supports a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This TFT touch screen supports 65K colours. The device is just 110 grams and has a dimension of 106 x 52.5 x 15.6 mm. Thus it easily fits in to your pockets. You can store data with its amazing memory capacity of 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM. It supports a Samsung SC32442X processor with a speed of 300 MHz and it also comes with a micro card and a TransFlash card.
The I-Mate JAMA Camera Mobile Phone also supports a range of entertainment features and the music formats supported by this phone are MIDI, MP3, WMA, WAV and AMR. The 64 voice polyphonic ring tones are very impressive. There are networking facilities such as GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps, USB 1.1, mini, Bluetooth 1.2, WAP, browser, infra red and e-mail client. It uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC software and facilitates instant messaging.
You can also take high quality pictures and video with the 2 MP, 1600×1200 pixels camera integrated in this handset. You can send and receive SMS, E mails and MMS with this device. Other features include Games, clock, alarm, calculator, voice memo, and predictive text.
The operating system supported by the unit includes Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Edition. With the in built features like word excel outlook you can get your office work done in this mobile. Other features supported by this handsfree device include Windows Media Player 10, Video/audio album and File manager.
A Li-Ion battery is used in this device with amperage of 1020. The battery capacity ranges from 150 hours during stand by mode and the talk time supported is 4 hours. You can store unlimited call records and contacts in the memory of this unit. It does not support features like HSCSD, EDGE, 3G and WLAN. The manufacturer provides 1 year warranty for I-Mate JAMA PDA Mobile Phones. The small device is very little a mobile phone and more of a PC camera and music player.

How to ADD ringtones for imate JAMA
I am using I mate JAMA since last year.I am facing many problem(e.g service centre,mobile hang while operating).
I am using vodafone connection & require GPRS setting for I Mate JAMA.Pl provide the details on my mail ID.

hi.. i would like to know whether we can add any polyphonic ringtones to my imate jama.. and also i want to know about the themes.. i could not apply some themes that i downloaded from internet.. please tell me how i can run those applications successfully.. waiting for reply..
