Another stunning mobile phone unveiled at the Mobile World Congress, aiming the business users was the HTC Touch Pro2 Touchscreen Mobile Phone. It comes as an enhancement of the original HTC Touch Pro Mobile Phone. A highly advanced Windows mobile phone, this HTC Touch Pro2 Mobile Phone comes loaded with QWERTY keypad, large display and lots of advanced features. It is comparatively larger and heavier than the original HTC Touch Pro. It comes with a large 3.6” touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, while the old Touch Pro only had a 2.8” screen. The keypad is also larger with more spacing between the keys. It comes with an unusual feature called “Straight Talk” that gives conference -quality speakerphone that can be used for audio conferencing in meetings.
The interface is further enhanced and provides easy navigation via finger controls. In terms of keypad and screen quality, it surpasses the Nokia E90 Communicator. It even beats the Nokia N97 when it comes to screen resolution. Somehow, it does not offer the 5MP camera offered by Touch Diamond2. Here, the camera just has 3.2 megapixels sensor.
The other highlights of HTC Touch Pro2 HSDPA Mobile Phone are multimedia player, GPS, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, Windows Mobile 6.1, dual band HSDPA and HSUPA, WiFi, quad band GSM and an internal memory of 288MB. Its rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery supports a talk time of 4.5 hours and 19 days standby time (for 3G). For GSM, it supports 7 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby time.
