Listed below are some simple, easy ways to improve your battery’s performance and its life span:

Turn off Connections & Applications when not in use

Most of the people leave connections as such, even if they are not in use. To say, many people leave Wi-Fi connection on, even in areas where there is no network. Similarly, bluetooth, 3G, infrared, auto brightness, notifications and alerts, themes, unwanted widgets, automatic updates and so on in your mobile phone could be switched off. Even if you press end key, most of the applications will run in the background using up the battery. Find them and terminate them.

Games & Musics

These are the two great power suckers in mobile phone. Think twice before you use them, especially when you are running out of the power. Minimize the use of high graphic games, and turn off the audio and vibrations in games.

Vibrating alerts & keypad tones

This is another power consumer in most of the mobile phones. Activating vibrating alerts when you are in a meeting or a conference is acceptable as the ring tone is kept in mute, but its is better to de-activate it when the ring tone is switched on. Also, there is no much use of keeping the keypad tones switched on.

Reduce display brightness and phone volume

It is advisable to keep the display brightness low as it consumes plenty of power to illuminate the screen. You can switch on the power saving mode in your mobile phone. Also, reduce the ringing volume of the mobile phone, if you are not working in a sound polluted environment.

Keep your Phone as simple as possible

Even though animated themes, wall papers and screen savers look pretty, they absorb a plenty of energy. In order to keep your battery lasting, you can consider using simple ones.

Reduce constant use of applications

Charge your mobile phone regularly

Mobile phone manufacturers offer wonderful stand by time for their handsets. But that doesn’t mean that you must charge the battery only after getting drained out fully. Never allow your mobile phone battery to get discharged completely. Try to re-charge it, at least after three fourth of the battery has been used. Try to carry a travel adapter, while in journey. This will heavily improve the battery’s lifespan.

Keep your Phone away from heat sources and radiations
