Gigabyte GSmart S1200 Mobile Phone

The new Gigabyte GSmart S1200 Mobile Phone was released in 2009, August with outstanding options and candy bar type outlook with no embedded keys. The dimensions of this sleek looking phone are 05.5 x 52 x 11.4 mm and it weighs 102.5 gm. Touch screen is the user interface provided with the phone.
The memory requirement is satisfied with 512 MB ROM and 288 MB RAM. The memory expandable slot configured is microSD (TransFlash), and will be compatible up to 8 GB. The main processor configured with the board for enhanced data transaction is Qualcomm 7200A with a frequency of 528 MHz. The 3.1 inch TFT display is of WVGA type and it has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The TFT screen is composed of 65k colours. Polyphonic ring tones are compatible with the phone. The messaging features supported are enhanced by including Email protocols like IMAP/POP3/SMTP, Push Email with SMS and MMS. Predictive Text Entry T9 is also included but EMS facility is excluded.
The imaging options are very well developed with 3 mega pixels camera and Auto focus, Digital zoom, CMOS image sensor, flash, night mode, video recoding and secondary VGA video call camera. The lens is of CMOS type and it offers improved sensitivity. The maximum resolution that can be obtained for the images is 2048 x 1536 pixels. The photo format video playback is featured with the phone to meet maximum utility. The video format compatible with the phone is MPEG4, WMV and 3GP. The audio device embedded on the phone can play the file types like MP3, WMA, AAC, AMR, WAV and MID. The FM radio embedded with this mobile phone further raises the rating of the phone. Additional multimedia features included are Preinstalled Papago maps and Navigation Key Smart Pack UI. The antenna is built internally and is enough because the signals are amplified and processed well before transmission.
The entertainment feature is expanded with games as well. The PIM applications are Alarm, Calendar, Calculator, TO-DO, Notes. Other applications supported by the Gigabyte GSmart S1200 Camera Mobile Phone are Built-in GPS receiver, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, PDF viewer), Windows Media Player, MP3/MPEG4 player. The photo call ID option is included in the phone. The voice support is arranged for Dialling, Commands, Recording, and Speaker Phone. The connectivity of the phone is very well designed and built with GSM frequency bands and Quadband. The Network Technologies compatible in GSM are 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz and in UMTS are 900,2100 MHz. Connectivity options supported are 3G, GPS, EDGE, GPRS, HSDPA, HSUPA, mini USB, WAP, Bluetooth, WLAN. The operating system designed for governing the mobile functions is Microsoft Windows Mobile.
The OS compatible with the mobile phone are Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 and Windows Mobile Professional 6.5. The Java (J2ME) platform is also included as an extra feature in order to support relative applications. The browser which supports WAP 2.0 is Internet Explorer Mobile and based on xHTML platform.
The battery is a Standard battery Li-Ion with the battery capacity is 1010 mAh. The maximum talk time that can be obtained with the capacity of the battery is 4 hours and the supported stand by time is 150 hrs.
