Digicel Coral 200 Solar Mobile Phone is a low-cost solar powered handset. It has a basic 1.5” display with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, supporting 65k colours. It is dual band phone with 300 phone book entries. The solar battery makes it a bit clumsy measuring 104 x 45 x 19 mm. This mobile phone would prove to be quite useful to people who have limited access to electric supply.

Digicel has been providing low cost solar chargers since early 2008. It is believed that 2 billion people in this world do not have access to electricity or have only limited access.
