HTC Desire Z supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G and HSDPA 900 / 2100 3G frequency bands and iPhone 4 operates on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G network and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 3G network. Attuned to work on GPRS Class 32 and EDGE Class 32 technologies, it offers improved internet connectivity. High speed internet access is possible with HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps. The mobile phone is Wi-Fi enabled and offers support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot. Connectivity options supported in iPhone 4 are Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps GPRS, Class 10, 236.8 kbps EDGE and HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspots are supported. Both the models offer support for v2.1 with A2DP Bluetooth and USB.

Storage
Apple iPhone 4 is available in 8, 16 and 32 GB storage capacities, offering better storage options. You can choose a model with sufficient storage. It is pre-loaded with 512 MB RAM. On the other hand, HTC desire Z comprises is integrated with 1.5 GB and 512 MB RAM. Expansion of storage is available in the form of microSD card slot. It accepts cards up to 32GB capacities. Considering your storage needs, you can expand the storage.

Entertainment options
Both the models feature 5 MP cameras of 2592х1944 pixels that enhance your photography experience. The Auto focus cameras with LED flash enhances the picture quality of the images. Video recording is possible with both the cameras. In iPhone 4 LED video light is provided to capture high quality videos. An additional VGA camera is supported that allows video calling over Wi-Fi only.

Presence of an audio/video player offers non-stop entertainment solutions. The supported media players support a range of media formats. Stereo FM radio with RDS is featured in the HTC desire Z. HTML browser with Adobe Flash support offers smart web browsing on your Desire Z mobile phone while HTML (Safari) browser is supported in the Apple iPhone 4. HTC Desire Z offer support for Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Picasa integration. Apple offers support for Twitter integration and Google Maps. iCloud cloud service is also part of it.

Apple iPhone 4 operates on iOS 4 and delivers better user experience. It is engineered precisely with Apple A4 Chipset, 1 GHz Cortex-A8 CPU and PowerVR SGX535 GPU. HTC desire Z mobile phone runs on Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo) platform which is upgradable to v2.3. High-speed performance is ensured with Qualcomm MSM7230 Chipset, 800 MHz Scorpion CPU and Adreno 205 GPU. Both the models support Accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors.

SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email are messaging services available in these devices. Apple iPhone 4 features iMessage.
