T-Mobile MDA Basic Mobile Phone

Duncan was cruising in his brand new Jaguar, his hair flying wildly in the wind. He pressed hard on the accelerator raising the gear to its maximum. He forgot himself, the world around and was indulged in a moment of pure ecstasy. The high-pitched sound of a siren brought him back to the world. He looked back to find a traffic officer's car at his heel. 'Oh-oh! I'm screwed' he muttered as he pulled up his Jag to a halt. The officer stepped out of his car and and walked towards Duncan with a frown in his face.

“I'm going to write you a ticket for over-speeding mister.” he began in a drawling tone. Duncan stood there without utterance, for he knew the fault was his. Just then, the officer's mobile phone rang and Duncan couldn't resist.

“What's your model, officer?” The officer stared at him for a few seconds, then shrugged and said, “It's a good for nothing mobile phone. To be honest, it's so outdated that I feel it's from the Victorian ages.” “Are you planning to buy a new one, then?” asked Duncan.”May be…know of any new models?” Duncan smiled wide. “I know just the thing for you officer.”

“Call me Ben, Duncan.” said the officer handing over Duncan's driver's license. “Okay, Ben. I know of a new model from T-mobile. It's the HTC MDA basic. Do you wanna know more about it?” “Sure, man why not?” said Ben leaning his shoulders on Duncan's glossy Jaguar.

“The T-Mobile HTC MDA Basic Touchscreen Mobile Phone is to be released sometime this month. The touchscreen is about 2.8 inches. It is actually an entry-level Windows smartphone. It has Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.”

“What about Bluetooth and 3G?” asked Ben opening a pack of cigarettes and offering one to Duncan. “Thanks, but I don't smoke. The HTC MDA not only has Bluetooth, but also Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE. But it does not have 3G. The RAM is of 128MB and the memory can be expanded by making use of the microSD slot up to 4GB. It's a compact touchscreen phone, Ben. It measures about 105 x 59 x 16mm and weighs just about 110 grams.”

Just then, a heavy truck trundled across leaving behind a trail of smoke. The men coughed in unison, but Ben continued long after Duncan stopped. “It's the cigarettes. You better quit smoking, it's eating up your lungs.” Ben looked at him and after a half-smile, put his cigarette down and said, “I'll try from today.”

“Duncan, how about the talk time and stand-by time of the mobile phone?” “Well, the T-Mobile HTC MDA Bluetooth Mobile Phone has 11 days of standby and talk time of 8 hours. The touchscreen has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It also features a 2 megapixel camera at the back. The processor is a 200MHz TI OMAP 850. Furthermore, it features TouchFLO user interface in 2D, handwriting recognition, an editor, a pre-installed document viewer and polyphonic ring tones.”

“Sounds like a good phone.” commented Ben. “I wonder why they call it basic. It does have quite a lot of features” “That's what I thought too.” said Duncan offering Ben a strip of chewing gum. “The mobile phone also features a HTML Pocket IE and WAP browser, handwriting recognition, MMS and email facilities. Are you a music freak, Ben?”

“Mmm.. not exactly. But I do listen to the radio once in a while..Does the MDA basic have an FM tuner?” “Oh, there's no FM. But it does have an MP3 and AAC player though. There's also the video camera feature and built-in games.”

The two men stood there discussing the MDA basic with no idea of the time. The sun had sunk low behind the mountains when Ben said, “Oh, I didn't notice the time at all. Duncan, thank you so much for all that info. I think I'll go for the T mobile MDA basic.” “Well, thats good, Ben. Alright then, It was a pleasure talking to you.” “Same here. And your car, It's super cool.” “Thanks, Ben.” “And Duncan, please do drive a bit slower.” said Ben with a jocular slap on Duncan's shoulder.

T-Mobile G1 Google Android Mobile PhoneGoogle, definitely is not satiated with the status of the largest search-engine under the sun. Else, there is no viable reasons to describe their adventure of this type; a venture into the gadget world to lock horns with masters over there. Their product, T-Mobile G1 Google Android Mobile Phone, though launched after considerable media-hype, till this day has not been successful to raise tremors in the world mobile phone market that is still dominated by the likes of Apple iPhone, Blackberry Bold or Nokia N95 mobile phones. It is expected to hit the UK markets by early November this year.

For the main reason or the knowledge of the Google on their limitations, they seem decided to combine the best aspects of two hot stuffs into a single body. That is, Google has merged the divine Multitouch-screen of the iPhone and the exceptional QWERTY keyboard plus trackball of Blackberry in their prototype, finding that there is nothing special or ground-breaking, they have to offer. Another part, where this mobile phone is expected to give the iPhone a run for their money, is the multimedia sector, that comes highlighted by the capability of downloading music from Amazon.com that would hoist the Google mobile phone's music library capacity to something around 6 million tracks that too, very much at the press of a button.

Another attraction here, is the presence of exceptional messaging factors in this mobile phone lead by Gmail of Google. Apart from this, a personal Email service along with YouTube video presentations are also provided here. Street view mode presentation of Google maps in this mobile phone, lets its users explore the cities as if from the corner of the very city. This mobile phone of Google comes powered by the Android Operating System that is seen as a clever strategy of the Google to entice more and more people towards their search engine that in its turn happens to be the main revenue source of the company.

T-Mobile G1 Google Android 3G Mobile Phone depends on the UMTS aspect to attain increased pace in their communication data download sector. A GPS receiver is also a provision in this mobile phone. The display of this device, boasts of HVGA resolution (480 x 320 pixels). The 8GB on-board memory of this communication device is also quiet competent, considering the fact that it has also a memory expansion slot that suits some memory cards. Finally, the power management of this phone is also quiet remarkable when the rechargeable battery of this device yields a talktime of 5 hours along with a standby of up to 130 hours.

T Mobile Compact III Mobile Phone

The T-Mobile Compact III Mobile Phone obviously has a number of remarkable features to boast of. The kingpin of the lot is nothing less than a GPS navigating system, and a range of advanced features like the multimedia, FM radio, a camera of 2 megapixels resolution and GPRS, promptly follows.

Sat Nav Advantage

GPS system is nothing new for the day's advanced mobile phone widgets, though the capability varies between models. The Compact III, with its 2.8” colour touch screen, T-Mobile NaviGate system, TomTom maps and above all a SirF StarIII receiver, holds promise of excellence. The powerful Windows operating system of Mobile 5.0 emerges the backbone of the concept. A smart stylus also accompanies the model to precise the touch screen-icon ergonomics.

Multimedia, FM Radio, Camera and E-mails

The model proves to be an all-rounder when the advanced features buttressing it are summed up. The multimedia aspect of the phone allows the user to enjoy crisp MP3 music as well as send and receive picture messages. The FM radio in its turn opens up a world of music options along with news and other programmes. Another significant part of the multimedia support for the model is a 2 megapixel camera with multiple zooming back ups. Video images can also be realised through the recording as well as the play back capability of the camera. Lastly, though definitely not the least, the e-mail advantage steps up the utility levels of the phone. Thanks to an efficient Web’n’Walk browser supported by WAP, xHTML and HTML. The user can also access the MS Office documents on the move. All these features of the phone depend on a dynamic GPRS concept that encircles the Compact III.

It also aids in communication by voice

Now a days, who cares about these things, especially in a multi-faceted gizmo like this model. Any way, the model offers a 210-minute long talk time on a single charge (Thanks to a powerful Li Ion battery), an internal memory of 128MB to store phone names as well as maintain a calls register and polyphonic ring tones too for extra amusement. The T-Mobile Compact III Camera Mobile Phone is fortified further with a Quad Band Frequency module that allows the user to use the phone in some countries like the USA.

Conclusion

The model is undoubtedly a handy commodity considering its marginal dimensions and weight. The advanced connectivity features like the USB and Bluetooth, further catapults it to dizzying heights. However, one would ironically muse into the redundancy in embellishing the model with a Bluetooth feature when a powerful built in GPS chip shrouds it. Somewhere the user, if a techno-savvy person, senses the absence of the Wi-Fi and 3G concepts too. Overall the model is extremely stylish, handy and efficient. The silver and grey shades prove the perfect foil for all the richness summed up.
