Presenting the Vivaz Pro, another ‘coming soon’ mobile phone from Sony Ericsson that could give the high-end mobile phones of Nokia a run for their money. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is stuffed with several interesting features, some of which like HD video recording are truly exceptional.
The handset, which is available in black and white options looks very elegant, and the slide-out QWERTY keypad takes it a step higher. The black version could be pretty safe to opt for, but we like the white version better – you know, we’re always for combinations that bring out a striking contrast. The keypad is a grey one with well-spaced out black buttons which ought to make messaging comfortable. The dimensions stand at 109.0 x 52.0 x 15.0 mm and the gadget weighs a little over 117g. The screen is a spacious 3.2” 360 x 640 pixel one, the very thought of which brings a smile of relief on our faces – Ah! Browsing has got to be comfy.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro QWERTY keyboard mobile phone boasts an able 5MP camera (wonder why the 8MP camera of the Vivaz has been cut down) with flash, auto focus and 4x digital zoom. Adding more fizz to the camera are face and smile detection and geo-tagging. Now this here is one dandy camera, huh? Of course, its not as good as that of Vivaz’s, but still. In the connectivity department, Vivaz Pro is provided with 3.5G and WiFi, apart from Bluetooth.
Here comes the interesting part for which we’ve been for – the juicy feature set of the Vivaz Pro. The device is compatible with YouTube and Facebook and sports a PlayNow service that can render entertainment before the wink of an eye. The built-in GPS with Google Maps and Wayfinder is an added advantage, so is the Media Go entertainment organiser. There also is a dedicated video key lets you show-off the HD video you just caught to the entire world in a jiffy.
