Mobile phones are no more mere “calling and texting” devices. They have more roles to play; a digi cam, a navigator, a mini browsing device and lots more. Here comes a phone crammed with features and versatility. If you ask me, the best loved feature will be its 4 inch screen!!! LG BL40 Chocolate 5MP Camera Mobile Phone, the latest release from LG is the sib in LG Black label series. With astonishing beauty, this black glossy slab is as tempting as a big chunk of dark chocolate!!!
This tasty chocolate candybar phone sports distinctive features like 21:9 aspect ratio, and a huge screen with 800 by 345 pixels resolution to ensure excellent image quality. Even panoramic view is possible in this latest chocolate phone due to its extra-ordinary screen size and aspect ratio. The mobile browsing experience is “smooth as silk” using this touchscreen handset. Moreover the Dual screen UI is the slice of pie exclusively for the mobile surfers!!! The dual screen UI can display two different contents simultaneously; this is indeed a great help for net savvies.
The HD widescreen display with “True VGA” resolution promises crisp images, life-like videos and dynamic games. The documents are more legible and readable with the inclusion of better LCD screen. Mobile movies with no black bars is also possible in this tasty bar of chocolate. Dr.Skott Ahn, CEO of LG, has revealed that LG is surprised seeing the initial response to their latest chocolate Mobile Phone. Although most of the LG fans are interested in the funky shape of the gadget, Ahn added that the real surprise is the viewing pleasure and ease in the large 4 inch screen.
The huge screen with curved tempered glass encased in a black glossy finish with streaks of red makes LG BL40 Chocolate Touchscreen Mobile Phone really adorable. A 5MP camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and flash makes this smartphone dear to the entertainment freaks as well. A deep examination into the display icons of this gizmo reveals the chances for HSDPA, S-Class user interface, GPS, Wi-fi and FM Radio. Moreover the front facing camera emphasises the probability of 3G support of new Chocolate Handset.
This unusually tall phone works in both orientations (wide and tall) without any hassle. Although LG has not disclosed any details about the dimensions of this phone, it is estimated to be as long as Nokia Communicator; the speculated dimensions are around 128 x 52 x 11mm. LG GW300 Mobile Phone
August 4, 2009
Blackberry phones have always charmed the users as well as the major mobile phone makers with its exquisite design. The “Nokiaberries” and “SamBerries” released of late justifies the above statement. Now LG is also joining this “mimic club” with LG GW300 Candybar Mobile Phone. Most of the details about this handset is undercover. However, the inclusion of the candybar QWERTY keypad emphasises the speculation that GW300 is mainly a social network centric device.
A web browser, email client, quick access to Facebook, etc. are the major highlights of this gizmo. From the revealed specs, it is chalked out that LG GW300 is more or less an entry level phone with a racy look. A 2.4 inch display with 320 x 240 pixels display resolution is able enough to cater the browsing needs of the users. This GSM device comes with GPRS/EDGE compatibility; it is disappointing that the “LGBerry” lacks 3G compatibility with HSDPA and WCDMA.
Nokia and Samsung has included almost all high-end features including the navigational maps in their “Blackberry like” devices. However, LG disappointed the mobile maniacs with a low-entry model into this category. Lack of Wi-fi and GPS also dampens the excitement of LG fans. Bluetooth is the major option for data transfer in this device. Entertainment options of this phone includes FM Radio, advanced multimedia player, 3.5mm headphone socket, etc.
Did I mention about the 2MP camera glued into the rear end of LG GW300 GSM Mobile Phone? Micro SD cards can be used to beef up the memory of the device according to the users’ preference. LG has chosen Spanish market to try GW300 for the first time. Although, the release of this LGBerry is expected in UK shores as well, LG is close mouthed about the pricing information and release date in UK.
