The new LG Optimus Q 5 MP Camera Mobile Phone in slider design and black shade is provided with many advanced features 
to make communication as well as entertainment fulfilled. The unit announced in April 2010 has a 3.5 inches AMOLED touch sensitive screen that supports 16M colours and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It also has a QWERTY type keyboard. Accelerometer sensor offers UI auto-rotate. It has a 5 MP built in autofocus camera.
Alert types provided in it include vibration and MP3 ringtones. This mobile phone is provided with 3.5 mm audio jack and speakerphone. The dedicated media player supports MP3, WMA, eAAC+, MP4, H.263 and H.264. FM radio and DMB TV tuner are additional features supported by the unit. It’s got to be difficult having to live up to the expectations of millions around the world. Well, the LG GS500 Cookie Plus Mobile Phone was faced with such a prospect when it was initially launched. And we have to say that the handset did not buckle under the pressure one bit. This LG mobile phone has done extremely well, doing the ‘Cookie’ branding proud. What does the ‘Plus’ in this device indicate? A lot of things, actually. For one, it has a fresh user interface that has a lot of things to play with.
This UI lets you access social networking sites form the home screen (now this becoming a cult with smartphones these days!) Facebook, Bebo, Twitter or Flickr – you can access them all by placing widgets in the home screen, keeping you connected at all times. 3G with HSDPA 7.2 Mbps is yet another addition; so browsing should be fast. Another improvement on the Cookie is Editable Screenshot, a feature that lets you take screen shots, edit them and pass them over to your friends.
Sounds good, doesn’t it? And as for UI, it’s cartoon styled with a bubbly touch to everything. This will for sure attract the younger generation, not to mention a major chunk of the middle-aged section who prefer to keep things chirpy. This LG GS500 mobile phone has the same 3” touchscreen display as that of it’s younger bro and comes with a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video recording capability.
The Cookie Plus comes with expandable memory of up to 16 GB and also has a good music player and FM player. Overall, the LG GS500 Cookie Plus is an extremely attractive device with an attractive build. A tasty Cookie indeed!
