HTC Leo Mobile Phone

Here comes another dashing handset from the Taiwanese Tech company, HTC. Their latest release, HTC Hero has not yet started flying off the shelves; here they come with some other dazzler. Christened HTC Leo Mobile Phone, it has a strange list of specs to offer. I think HTC is fed up of the normal candybar PDAs. After a long gap, HTC is again releasing a flipper; Even though details about HTC Omni (a clamshell model from HTC) was leaked out, it was never brought into limelight! Leo is a clamshell smartphone with twin screen! Hey.. do not gape into the screen with mouth wide open!!!

Yes.. HTC Leo comes with a twin screen; a primary screen with the resolution of 800 x 400 pixels, and an external screen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution. The OpenGL 2.0 Graphics support has fired up a rumour that this “lion” may run on the snapdragon platform. It is speculated that Leo supports WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB, built-in GPS sensor, etc. It is also speculated that Full QWERTY keyboard will be housed in this smartphone to make it text-friendly.

It seems HTC has chosen Windows as Leo’s playmate. This Windows Mobile 6.5 device is anticipated to follow the HTC Omni Concept. Currently, no word is released about its release date or pricing details.
