Blackberry Curve 8520 Mobile Phone

July 29, 2009

blackberry-8520-mobile-phoneBlackberry RIM has announced their latest handset. Dubbed Blackberry Curve 8520 Wi-Fi Mobile Phone, it is available in markets through Vodafone UK. Blackberry is the icon of style and quality among the business mobile phones across the globe. This new release sports a 2MP digital camera, adept mailing features, bluetooth, Wi-fi, 256MB flash memory, GPRS, web browsing, etc.

A perfect blend of style and features; this will be an apt caption for the new Curve! Blackberry has included the touch sensitive optical trackball in this newfangled handset. This is a media friendly business phone; is it a hint on the changing trends of Blackberry? On top of the phone, they have added the 3.5mm headphone socket and dedicated multimedia keys. It is unfortunate that 3G is ruled out from this device. However, it is rumoured that the lack of 3G has boosted the battery life of the phone dramatically.

Blackberry App World, the exclusive application portal from RIM is one of the best options in this mobile phone. The battery life of this device is decent and it is listed as 4.5 hours talk time and 17 days standby time. MicroSD slot is also provided in this gizmo to beef up the memory capabilities upto 16GB. It is not necessary to explain about the QWERTY keypad of the blackberry phones, and its comfort as well. This is a good entry level smart phone from Blackberry. Blackberry Curve 8520 2MP Camera Phone comes with a 512MHz  processor, and can provide access to ten different mail accounts apart from the BB’s Enterprise server support.

No wonder this quad band phone was commented as “a priceless business phone at an affordable price.” Although Vodafone UK is tight lipped about the release date of Blackberry Curve 8520 Mobile Phone, the speculators sense it by August.
