Blackberry Storm 9530 Mobile Phone

When the iPhone was launched, all other smartphones looked liked mini typewriters in front of it. The iPhone, with its full touchscreen has been ruling the roost for a considerable time with no competitors tending to dethrone it. Currently some mobile manufacturers are keenly entering into the touchscreen race to compete with the iPhone. As to how far they would be successful, only time can tell.

Blackberry Storm 9530 Mobile Phone

With a leak of the plans for Blackberry Storm 9530 Bluetooth Mobile Phone, it seems that a competitor for the Apple iPhone is finally in the waiting. This phone is supposed to be launched by the end of October. It is a new smartphone from RIM (Research in Motion). One of the most striking features of this mobile phone is supposed to be a 3.2 mega pixel camera that is expected to come with auto focus and deprived of an inbuilt-flash. It would have a high resolution display of 480 x 360 pixel, supporting 65k colours. It seems to have a virtual landscape QWERTY keypad and the screen would flaunt a haptic touch screen and 2 analogue clocks.

This Blackberry Storm 9530 3G Mobile Phone is expected with the dimensions of 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm (H x W x D) and  a weight roughly around 155 g. It is expected to come with GPS, audible turn-by-turn rote-guidance and VZ Navigator. Full HTML browsing, similar to the iPhone would also be present in this device.

The phone would have a quad band 3G chipset and is likely to support CDMA and GSM. It boasts of a rich multimedia experience and the video too, is expected to be good. Other probable features are email, an organiser, integrated speaker, a microphone, support for 32 polyphonic ring tones, picture messaging, Bluetooth stereo, password protection, removable memory and removable battery.

Though nothing has been mentioned about an automatic tilt sensor, it is supposed to have an auto-screen rotation feature. This Mobile Phone looks entertaining and you can also anticipate visual voice mail in it.  The big question is, what would be the exact time, the ‘Storm’ hits the mobile phone market?
