Blackberry Pearl 8110 Smartphone

Research In Motion (RIM), with an intention to widen its reach, launched the Pearl range of handsets. The Blackberry Pearl 8110 Bluetooth Mobile Phone is yet another device that falls in the Pearl category, with slight variations in design and features. It is a small candybar handset with neat looks, measuring 107 x 50 x 14.5mm. Though it weighs only 88g, it gives a solid feel when you hold it in your hands. You can easily slide it into your pockets and carry around.

This mobile phone comes with QWERTY keypad and has an intuitive system called SureType, which means that you can just tap a key once for each letter you want regardless of whether it is first or second on the key. Though the screen is not touch sensitive, it is quite good measuring 2.2” and supporting 65k colours. You can easily type messages on its qwerty keypad, once you get used to it. There is a also a trackball navigation for easy access to the features of the phone. There are two convenience keys on the right and left edges, which you can set according to your convenience, like for camera, composing SMS or to set alarm.

Blackberry Pearl 8110 Black Mobile Phone comes with a wireless email service that lets you create, send and receive email with attachments. The other messaging services offered by this mobile phone are text messaging, multimedia messaging and instant messaging. It comes with a built-in document viewer that enables you to view documents in word, excel and PowerPoint.

It is a tri band phone with GPRS and supports HTML and WAP. The phone comes with built-in GPS, but lacks 3G and WiFi.. The integrated Blackberry maps make it easier for you to find locations of restaurants, businesses and other venues. With its GPS you can get turn by turn navigation to find your way. The entertainment feature of the phone includes a music player that is quite average. The phone’s connectivity part is enabled by USB and Bluetooth.

The imaging feature of Blackberry Pearl 8110 Camera Mobile Phone is its 2 mega pixels camera with self portrait mirror and flash. It supports video recording too. It comes loaded with 64MB internal memory along with memory card slot. Its battery supports a talktime of up to 240 minutes and standby time of up to 360 hours. This elegant mobile phone is available in three enchanting colours and you can choose between Blue, Black or Pink casings. It is a great phone with compact design and smartphone features.
