Well, if you haven’t, chances are you’ll be despised by technology and Apple lovers alike or pitied by work-mates for not being able to afford something of a ‘necessity’. Ahem, now this is something of an overstatement, but still! The device definitely has all what it takes to be called ‘revolutionary’, so it doesn’t hurt to stop and give it a thought, huh? For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past few months, here’s a small re-cap from the tech world.

The Apple iPad in a nutshell

The iPad stands somewhere between the iPhone and the MacBook line – it’s born of an affair between the two. It’s a 9.7” touchscreen tablet that runs on a 1GHz Apple A4 chip. As of now, there are two versions of the device – one with built-in WiFi and the other with WiFi and 3G, both of which are available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities.

The Apple iPad does not support standard SIM cards. Instead, it requires exclusive micro-SIMs for functioning. These micro-SIM cards are available on 3 Mobile, O2, Vodafone and Orange.
