
Acer is a new entrant into the mobile phone arena. The company best known for its laptops and PCs will unveil Acer DX900 Mobile Phone at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona from February 16 to 19th. This mobile phone would come with dual Sim facility. With this you can have access to two mobile communication services without the need to carry two devices. This is expected to come with HSDPA and EDGE, which would enable high speed internet access. HSDPA is much faster than 3G.
The dual Sim of Acer DX900 Bluetooth Mobile Phone allows you access to two separate phones, one can be used for business the other for personal or you can use one for calls and the other for data or in any way you want. The phone will support both 2G and 3.5G communications. It will come with 3 megapixel auto focus camera. It would also have a front facing VGA camera. Acer is expected to include exclusive applications in this phone apart from the usual mobile office applications.
Acer DX900 Camera Mobile Phone is expected to come with Windows Mobile 6.1, Bluetooth and WiFi for wireless connectivity and built-in GPS receiver and TV out functionality. It will have a 2.8” VGA TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 468 x 640. This mobile phone would operate on quadband network. The other features include built-in microphone, speaker and external stereo headset jack. The phone will come with dimensions of the phone are 106(H) x 60.5(W) x 17(D)mm and it will weigh 147g. The only downside of the phone is supposed to be its 3 mp camera that seems to be below par.
